The Flexstar family of burn-in test systems delivers accurate Testing with consistency. The well-proven Flexstar software simplifies testing with a familiar GUI and the ability to easily create and modify test scripts with no programming expertise required.
The system was engineered to provide uniformity of airflow to minimize temperature variance in the test system. The
chamber can be controlled from ambient +10ºC to +65ºC air
temperature with a gradient of +/- 3ºC air temperature
between test ports.
The combination of the Flexstar software, single board
computer and network power margin board provides the
bandwidth and flexibility to be able to handle the fastest
drives at maximum speed and to be able to handle up to four
storage devices per port. The product family covers testing of
104 devices to 352 devices at the same time.
Banks of drive bays may be programmed to run different
tests at the same time. Failed drives can be debugged in
place while the tests continue to run and serial port data
capture capability enables access to the device under test
even if the interface is not responding.
The burn-in family supports all of the industry-standard
storage device interfaces, including Fibre Channel, SCSI,
SAS, FireWire, SATA, PATA, CE-ATA, ATAPI and USB. Any
of the Flexstar anti-vibration fixtures can be specified,
including those designed to hold up to four small form-factor
devices.
The Flexstar family of advanced burn-in testers enables
flexible, accurate and repeatable mass burn-in testing for any
storage device.
